Celebrating *tiny* victories

If you know me, it’s not always the easiest for me to get all “braggy pants” since I have confidence issues (that is a work in progress. seems like this summer is when I got the great joy to start working through them).
I have to share this with you. Not being very techie it was quite a miracle of sorts to work through the steps (sent to me by the lovely Brandi):
I created this button!
Can you believe it. I’m giddy!

Today let’s celebrate the tiny victories and get braggy.
What tiny victory is happening in your world?
PS It’s not always about the big breakthroughs. I’ve discovered these tiny victories can lead to some pretty magical stuff.

honey, I think more people need to share their excitement about their victories. It ain’t bragging.
hooray for you!!

WHAT. YOU DON’T NEED ME ANYMORE! *tears*
This looks lovely, doll!
ps. i am celebrating the small victory of gently refusing a job offer that wouldn’t have worked for me. =)
That’s awesome Melly! And what a very cool button!!
The victory for me? A phone call yesterday with a good friend I’ve known only online. So good to put a voice to words, and validate that the same relationship exists in the offline world too – in fact, even stronger.

Woooohoooooo for small victories! Hmmm… mine is I’m actually allowing myself to have a nap in a mere few minutes… may seem tiny, but this is HUGE for me…. here I go… zzzzzzz….
p.s… i like your button.

Brandi- this week has been really all about these *tiny* victories more than the great big breakthroughs. i wanted to honor that side of my journey too. i think very often I ignore it because it seems like “so what, I did such and such, everyone does that…” I’m thinking of making it a daily tradition. That way my focus stays on the good things MORE.
Leah- oh trust me, there are lots of other things I will be needing help with.
i’m kind of proud of myself, even a few months ago I would have not tried this new thing. yay for stepping out! love to you. way to listen to your heart about that job. i’m so proud to call you a friend!
Lance- happy phone calls. that is groovy. isn’t it nice to bring friendship out of just virtual land & into daily life. enjoy!
Lisa- have a good nap. listening to yourself is always a victory!
John- nicely done. wish you all bunches of success with your blog. thanks for visiting me.
That is totally cute! I really enjoy reading your blogs. Ya know what I think most everyone have confidence issues, some people just hide it better than others.

My favorite color! Lovely button!
My tiny victory is the one my husband and I have created in the past two days; we’ve tuned in to what makes our souls sing and have taken baby steps toward making them sing more often. Best birthday I’ve ever had, hands down.

Yay for your tiny victory. It’s so pretty!
My tiny victory this week is getting my old zines converted to pdfs to put up on my site (they were created on the computer originally). I’ve been talking about picking the zine up where I left off in 2007 for at least a year, but today is the first time I’ve actually done something. So, Yay!

What a great victory! It’s not tiny at all–it is a collection of imagination, effort, dream, thinking, process and work–sounds like a lot to me! So much is brushed aside because “it’s only me” but it is so much more. Look at how many people have been moved to report back because of you. YEAAAA!
