This post is to bring you some of the truly lovely gems I have found this past week in the web world AND connect you to some groovy peeps you may not know yet.

Sit back & grab that favorite treat as you read some of these really inspired posts:

Craving Bliss: Discovering your unique set of tools- I’m drawn to writers who let me map my own path.  Christine is that person.  She doesn’t tell you what will work best for you, she simply let’s you journey with her and find your way.  Sweet.

You have Permission- I can not say enough brilliant things about Leonie.  This post left me speechless (in the very best way!).  It’s like all these limiting thoughts are racing around your head and Leonie beautifully opens up your soul to feel the freedom to keep living true.

The Anchor Project- I don’t know about you, but for me, there are times when I have so many good ideas & have trouble moving forward.  Ken shares a small but effective tip of how to get back on track with your dreams.  Side note: It won’t do it for you. However, you will be encouraged on how to proceed. :)

Sweet Faced Girls- When I read Mccabe’s post, it revealed the possibility that sometimes we can be our own harshest critics.  Time to throw off old habits & embrace the lovely “girl” in each of us. (hey boys, it can be for you too! i won’t leave you out)

The World’s Best Eggroll Recipe- The foodie in me just can’t help but add this one to my list.  Tracy takes us through the steps to make her mom’s awesome egg rolls.  Hint: they are easy & the recipe makes a ton of them!  Happy cooking!

*Bonus*

Momma Goddess Diaries- If there are any mommies-to-be out there, this one is for you!  Leonie is chronicling her journey into the wonderful world of mommyhood with videos. You can follow along with her or check in when you need a little pregnancy boost.

Joy Rebel Day: new beginnings

beautybudsIn honor of a very special day that a dear bloggy friend started called Joy Rebel Day I will be making this my first “official” post on my NEW blog.  Actually it is the old blog plus some. Mel’s bloggy world 2.0.

Brandi has started a Revolution of Joy.  It is one in which you MUST honor your inner joy rebel. She is one of the most real and joyful people I have met (even just through the bloggy world). While I can’t remember exactly how I found this wonderful souls’ website I am truly glad I did. Her words have not just brought me comfort but inspire me to live more authentically. She is a brave chick! (and my doppleganger, I am so not kidding Brandi!)

Today I give her BIG amounts of bloggy love because I know that Brandi has inspired lots of people not just me. She is one to watch.  Keep an eye on her. The world she is creating is one of love, artsy goodness, faith, perseverance, and of course, JOY!

Be A JOY REBEL!! Even for just today. Embrace it.

ps. That photo is one of her personal favorites (she is the master of that photograph). I LOVE flowers so I am more than happy to post it here on my blog. Don’t you feel like you can just lean up to the screen and take a deep breath of that luscious bloom?

pps I want to post this early so people can take part and this is my ‘bloggy love’ post so nothing new tomorrow folks! have a really sassy day.

Watch this: Whirlwish by Jen Gray

Creative Goddess Course w/ Leonie

when i found leonie’s blog about 6 months ago,
i knew i had found the place of someone very magical.
she is in every way the type of person i aspire to.
as ME though.
to live in a way that is free and gentle and joy-full.
she is also one of the most encouraging people i know.
with her gentle kindness and vulnerability she shows you
YOUR goddess.

not to long ago, leonie hatched a plan to create an online community
where people can nurture their inner goddess.
they could be safe to explore and reveal deeper layers of who they are.
who you are at the soul level. i think this circle is going to be one of beauty, strength, honesty and fun as we walk along together creating and basking in our loveliness. :)

the biggest thing is that women need women.

i love that she honors the feminine.
no shying away from the
warrior goddess. embrace it.

the course starts tomorrow, so you should check it out.
and if you are so inspired…
sign up.

the journey you take will be so refreshing just like the creator of it.

attraversiamo,
melly

Creative Goddess Course

how does one say

It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are. e.e. cummings

i heart this quote.

i think because i find myself
continually moving into
a more real and full acceptance of myself.
i used to think be true and loving to ME
was selfish.
that you should put all others before you.
now i don’t.

i believe that if i love ME fully, that
same love
pours out into the world around me.
bubbling up and out.
like a brook that can’t and won’t
be contained.
it is the only way to live.
all other ways keep me tied up
and a mess.
a way i am not fond of living.

thing is, the people around you
don’t always cooperate.
hang ups.
fear.
their stuff.
my projections.
that is where the courage comes in handy.
and a BIG dose of living from your
heart. trusting it to guide.
it does you know.

i often wonder how much is me
over analyzing based on my
thought patterns
and what is true.

oh how i long to live truth.
in the most sincere sense.

still trucking…

hoping your journey is rockin’,
xoxo

ps mccabe is offering a rock of the month club.
if you don’t do anything else. check it!
