airports and magic

yesterday i got to meet two very cool people.
they have shown me that
living your dreams and loving yourself
is possible AND necessary.
i thank them both. you know who you are.

connecting with people is such a delicate
process. full of understanding, kindness, and trust.
i think that when you meet someone
you are taking a risk.
to be open.
to trust.
to expose.
to be true and real.
it is a lovely and beautiful thing.
one that i so appreciate.

meeting people for me is hard.
first impressions can be awkward.
as i grow though i realize we probably
all feel that way a bit.
unsure with the unpredictability of it all.
the cool thing is, if we keep open.
the universe works it magic.
bringing the people who teach
and love us and vice versa.

i love that about life.

ps heading back to phoenix today.
